Susan is a retired administrator, educator and consultant. Her years at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh were focused on building bridges between the university and businesses and organizations throughout Wisconsin and beyond.

Susan is a longtime champion for nonprofits that support our community having served as board member, board chair, committee leader, campaign volunteer and director, and providing financial support.

What does literacy mean to you?

Literacy is a key to a richer life. It opens doors to communication, helps build relationships and opens opportunities for learning. It stimulates a curious mind and stokes creativity to expand horizons and enrich the learner. I believe literacy is an essential component to survive and thrive.
