Machaela Jackson(she/her)
English Language Teacher

Machaela has degrees in Early Childhood and Secondary Education, with a minor in English Language Arts. For three years, she was a substitute teacher for the Oshkosh Area School District. Now, with WALC, she teaches ELL at the Learning Center as well as the Paving Education Pathways program.

In her free time, she loves writing (and is actually a published author!) and spending quality time with her children. 

What does literacy mean to you?

Literacy is a lifelong commitment to learning. A productive, well-rounded society needs literate people in order to operate effectively.
